Would a quick connect shrader fill faster?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

I was wondering if i were to put in a quick connect valve and then snap this on over it, would it fill faster than a standard shrader valve you get off of a bike intertube? I feel that i may because the flow looks to be a little more open. Also would this fill the same or faster than one of the screw in shrader valves? Im sorry if this is a dumb or innappropriate question. Im just curious and would like to know.

Edit - I think i just noticed some teflon tape. This may just be a regular threaded schrader screwed into a quick connect. And if that the case, im sorry for posting this topic.

I highly doubt the schrader is any differnet from the threaded ones on mcmaster. Though the quick connect to schrader is worth the post IMO.

Been thanked: 3 times

I have that setup for my floor pump, so I can pump up guns that have quick connects. Works well.

To answer your question, No. It will fill at exactly the same rate as being threaded directly, but if your like MRC, the use of quick connects limit portability when using a large compressor, so having the option of using a foot/bike pump is a huge benefit.
