I just scored my self a 50mm (2") sprinkler valve for $3 yes thats right folks $3, a perfectly good (-solenoid) sprinkler valve for three measly dollars   lol

I went to my local recycling station where all the roadside bulk rubbish collection goes and the lady had no clue of the value :D

There was also an 80mm cross and some other pvc joints there.

i Could of spent hours there

EDIT: oh and i also just tapped it with a fitting to accept a 5/8" QEV as a pilot

So the place you go is where they dump all the recycables? And they keep stuff that they could sell?

yea its bulk rubbish collection that you put on verge at a certain time of yr, and they take it away and sort out stuff they want to sell and rest is trash or recycled.

the pilot QEV i bought off ebay as a set of 6 for 50$ inc shipping from US, they are piston SQEVs.

So yea good buy aye :D

I can't say I'm envious, mostly because I don't much like building that large, but that doesn't mean I don't recognise that you've a good find there - you should be able to build something pretty decent with that.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

How about a weeks run here in Spudfiles Classified section so your fellow Spudfile members can get exclusive chance at getting it (if any is interested).

For the shotgun, milk cap, 20 marbles, milk cap and you have some carnage. I was doing this in a 1.5 inch on my 1 inch sprinkler gun, so yours should do better.

Dammn thats a nice find, it's always nice ifnding people to sell you stuff they don't know the real value of.
And I'm loving the marble shotgun idea.
Though the deal of the century by be a little bit of an exageration (I think finding over 5 feet of 6" sch40 steal pipe for 20 bucks in a good condition when new it would be over 400 dollars is more of the deal of the century for me).

haha much better. Still, your deal comes with much less assembly work then mine did, and I can't wait to see what you do with it.
