Hey guys, some of you may remember my Burst Disk cartridge prototypes... well I decided to make a BD Cartridge for a launcher that I am building for my fn2000 Rifle.
So I decided on a Black and Gold color scheme.
Hope you guys like:

That is real nice, but I thought you had glued your compact bullpup bbmg to the bottom of your FN2000. and it is really nice, especially the colors.

I have an idea on how to fire these, but I have not had a chance to test it. Its along the lines of using a co2 inflator like you have previously described just slightly different.
You coud replace the schrader valve with a quick connect. Using a co2 paintball remote line with a slide check and quick connect adapter you could fire these very easily. (a company called "32 degrees" makes a nice remote line)
It's going to be unregulated co2 but it will still be safe for this application because the pressure is regulated by the burst disk. The flow of co2 is controlled by the slide check once the remote line is pressurized. Just hook up the remote line to the quick connect on the cartridge and when you want to fire just push the slide check forward. After it fires push the slide check back to cut off the flow of co2. It's certainly not going to be very effecient on co2 but it should work nicely.
By the way nice paintjob!

The idea of unregged co2 isnt very good is he uses a burst disc that burst at a pressure above the PVC-rated pressure. The shel will explode, so would use regulated if I was him.ImHUGEnJAPAN wrote:I have an idea on how to fire these, but I have not had a chance to test it. The pvc is rated for 370psi and the foil tape is for around 60.. the co2 from the inflator is actually unregulated.Tom wrote:

Since you said this will be mounted on your FN2000, will you have it attached directly, or inside of some 2 inch pipe? And will you have your BBMG and your BD cartrige attached to your 2000?

Looks awesome! Beatuiful paint job.
This PVC cartridge will be inside some other pipe right? Prefarably something though and metal, just for safety.

It probably wont be in something tough and metal. Just look at his 3 barrel grenade launcher, they are just placed inside of 2" PVC.

no reason for them to be placed in something uber strong... The burst disk which is 60psi acts as a intermidiate regulator/valve. the burst disk will punture way before any of the pvc does. So as far as safety... its all good.
David, how well do the cartriges fit in 2 inch sch 40, it you hold it upside down, will they fall out, or is a tight fit?

its a tight fit.. sometimes you have to sand down the little lips on the caps and couplings...
Thanks David, and in ggdt, what would i put down for projectile data, if i am using 50-100 .20g airsoft bbs?
