Well im sure it wouldnt be a problem seeing as how he didnt really post the cannon. Also he didnt speak of any explosives. He gave a short desription and gave you link which told you the rest of the information.

I started watching this video and somehow through the wonders of youtube (like 5 videos later) I'm watching a girl shooting a machine gun. Crazy how things work...

We seem to have a lot of self-appointed moderators here. :|

There isn't really anything against this - we've had similar videos posted before, but it would be best in the Non spudgun related section as a "cool video".

We discuss real guns often enough, so why should this be against the rules?

EDIT: Gah - No moderators online to PM. Sorry, Pimpmann, I did try.
...We need one here, even if just to clean up the rules discussion.

hmm you are right there about the firearms ragnarok :S

but i don't think that is a legal gun and can give people ideas (i got one).

but it would be good with a mod here

No, that's perfectly legal in the States, in spite of it's large calibre - it's a muzzle loader, so it's not even considered a firearm under US law.

AFAIK, the reason we don't discuss the manufacture of "guns" using solid propellant is at least in part so that people don't do a Ryan Meerdink.
If you're not sure who he is - he's a guy that filled a PVC cannon with a large amount of smokeless powder as propellant. You can imagine how much of him was left afterwards.

Of course, the final discussion is up to the mods, but I think we've seen discussions like this before that were allowed to stay.

That was an impressively well built cannon. The walls of the barrel pipe look awfully thin to me though...
