a high pressure waterpump can pump liguid propane in there but it will be hard to messure

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure what that would do so I asked. Which brings me to another idea... Could you measure the liquid propane with a meter similar to the meters in a gas pump? I believe that it uese a special kind of check valve with a spindle on it that records how fast the gas is moving so it can determine how much is going in and how much to charge?

Some answers:
"-What did this project cost you?"
Iam not sure, but only the digital gauge was over 250$ , the scuba tank and other parts was also several hundred dollars.

"-How much does this gun weigh?"
I will try to check that tomorrow.

Louder then a normal hunting rifle.
About 30 second after i made a 100x shoot i got a cal from a friend that lives over a km from where i was shooting, he heard the loud bang when he was standing in the shower.

"-Could we get a pic of your burst disks?"
Here is a picture of one used and on unused burst disk made of 0.5mm brass, so far i am using 3 disks but i think i could use more of them.
The disk is 32mm YD and they are tightened down against a O-ring.


"-What did you use as barrel?"
I am using a 1.8m long precision drawn seamless pipe with 20mm ID.

Yeah that's pretty loud if he's being truthful...inside the house...in the shower...1 km away. I can tell by the video it's got a beefy "mature" sound.

Thanks for the burst disk pics. Do you have an estimate the pressure they are bursting at? Obviously they have to at least contain 200x. You could stand to go, and would want to go substantially past that.

I imagine getting a good measurement of that may be very difficult.

It's worse than that. I was thinking about using metered liquid propane about a week ago for large cannons or high hybrid mixes as well.

that would say it as good as louder than a .50... when i was shooting i was 1.2km away from my parents that was home (my dad was with me) and they barely heard a sound other than the smack when it hit the rocks since that was 750yards closer to them.

They are. Larda showed me a slow motion video of a shot where the teflon sabot fragmented in the barrel, and the sabot bits and brass from the disk shredded the wooden target like grenade shrapnel.
