Noisemaker + easy way to fuel minis

Miniature guns are novelty custom, unique, and sometime downright crude! Common construction materials often include pill bottles or pens. Show us your work!

Note: It IS actually sparking at the beginning, but when I compressed the file, those frames were lost. Also, I have no idea why the slow-mo sounds so weird lol.

Just a really small burst disk noisemaker I made because I was bored. It is really loud, much louder than the video makes it seem.

I fuel it using a little butane blowtorch which cost about $12. It works really well, and I don't even have to vent the chamber. Fires every time with about 4-5 seconds of gas (because the nozzle mixes air in, it is usually a close-to-perfect mix. 3 seconds gives a slightly weak flame (not enough fuel-air) 4-5 is perfect, and if I go for a really long time I think the butane flowing out of the chamber gets sucked back into the nozzle, making it slowly get richer.)
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Man that's really cool. I haven't thought of using the real air sucking nozzle for fueling. You could probably scale this up a bit if you wanted, although a much larger chamber would take a while to fuel properly.

I'm usually not much of a mini man but I actually like this.

Lol I found out that if I get a toilet-paper tube, cut it down the side and make it the size of a ping pong ball, then tape it back up, the tube fits PERFECTLY around this little chamber. It is a pretty tight fit, so yesterday I sat on the couch and fired ping-pong balls to my sister who had the bat lol. It doesn't go very fast at all due to the teeny tiny chamber (I do it without the lid and burst disk) and makes a satisfying, quiet little 'pop' when it fires. I tried it with the burst disk and the ball went flying across the room with quite a bit of speed after a louder 'POW'
