When something doesn't work. For example 'the server is down'.

Reminds me of some of my old Novell Netware server upgrades back in the 90's....usually all-nighters on non-switched 10 mb ethernet segments.

Way to stick with it PCGUY...I feel your pain brother!...

Downtime is the time that a website, server or any other similar thing is down, which means its turned off, crashed or something else and you cannot use it.

About the chat, well, he either had another row of problems with it, or he is doing something with it. Maybe he needs to re-direct the chat to the new server or something.
Or maybe there's a chat tweak coming up...

When I post I get a window that says "Stack overflow at line: 0"

Anyone else get this?

Oh and this link no longer works:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/chat/info.php

It usually shows who's online in the chatroom but now displays:

Fatal error: Call to a member function next() on a non-object in /home/spudfile/public_html/forums/chat/info.php on line 24
