Boom! The classic potato gun harnesses the combustion of flammable vapor.

I was bored tonight so i made my first combustion. It's made of a 1 liter bottle, and a cardboard tube. The thing sticking out the side is a bic pen casing to fill and fire it easier. It shoots plastic bottle caps like the ones on coke, pepsi, mountain dew bottles.

Firing it with a jet lighter

lol, thanks guys. I shot it outside today and the bottle cap went like 100 feet.
I was impressed for a gun this size and ghetto-ness. O yeah and i stuffed clay into the bottle cap for increased distance

haha nice job, go ghetto! but make sure you don't put too much fuel in it. bottles aren't exactly meant for explosive pressure. You might want to consider wrapping it in duct tape. It will be stronger and look even more ghetto. But you would lose the artistic cherries (credit to risto)
