GGDT and HGDT and Vista?

(not sure if this goes here, move if neccecary)

Well, i just purchased a new computer. REALLY FAST. and a huge monitor... perfect for 3d CAD :D

However, i was unhappy to find that GGDT DID NOT WORK on my computer, and same with HGDT.... anyone esle have these problems?

Where you able to download and install both applications succesfully? Any error messages at all? What version of Vista OS is on your new computer?

Run them as administrator.

I'm using 32-bit vista, and I haven't had to do a single thing...

However, I have found when other things haven't worked before, the best move is to right click, select properties from that list - then when that's up, select the compatibility tab, and select the tick box next to where it says:
"Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Then make sure it says XP below, apply the changes, and check it again.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

I have to run it on mine in admin, with 64 bit:)

i got it to work!!!!!!!!!!!

Turns out you need to run it in admin mode, like you said.

that and now i cant get PVC designer and Softchrono to work........
