i have gotten countless 3x shots, a 5x and about 6 7x shots, i used 64 layers over a pretty small area as disk..

In your diagram the legs are pointed like: |\
But for optimal force redirection into the ground, you should place legs like: /| or /\
Assuming that the gun is pointing >this> way.
So you should at least have one or two legs going like /
