This following article inspired to begin spudding, so I would like to share it. The power is amazing considering its a ball valve gun. He can get roughly 450-500 fps with a marble at 100 psi. He didnt give muzzle velocaties for a 240 psi charge, but he said it could easly punch through very good quality 3/4 inch plywood at 15 meters. He also bought some 5/8" steel ball bearing balls, which are the same size as the marbles, but weigh three times as much (about 15 gramms). He said he can put one of those through 30 mm of particle board, or sometimes sideways through a spruce 2x4 stud (1.5" thick). All this with a ballvalve actuated cannon? Dam!

P.S.-

I am also improveing my ballvalve canon. I now use 6 thick rubber bands to open it with a hook trigger. Even without air it gives it about an inch of recoil upwards. Im going to change the valve handle to look like a musket percussion cap hammer. I added a bb barrel attachment and fired a couple of times. In my last shot the barrel shot out of it's attachment and flew about 50 meters into the air before getting stuck in a stree. That bloody pipe cost £12!!!!

Well, we've seen this a couple of times. (Wasn't there also some controversy about plagiarism?)

It's nice, but could use safer materials, and would do well to use a better valve.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

That's not it, there was some Aussie - simo I think - some months ago who claimed the launcher was his own when it clearly wasn't.

That may well be it. It was before my time posting here, but I heard about it.
