Hey guys,

i know i havent been around in a long time, i've just been so busy.

I've finaly decided to add those finishing touches to my marble gun.

Now my barrel is curently copper sleeved in 3/4" PVC and fits marbles perfect, but its 90cm Long.

My chamber is 2" Pressure PVC (its an under over config, ill dig up a link with a pic later) and its 30cm long.

I want to shorter the barrel and get more power but keep accuracy.

More power = Bigger air chamer (Cant exceed 120PSI)
Accuracy = Longer barrel (Ill have to sacrafice accuracy)

So what im asking is, what would you do if you wanted it to be more close combat like?

Ill edit a link in soon.

A longer barrel does not mean accuracy.
Its the quality of the barrel and consistency of the shots that makes the accuracy.
If you want more power, use a metal chamber and more pressure.
What kind of valve are you using?

When decreasing barrel length, increasing chamber volume to make up for the power loss is not very efficient.

Hey,

I cant upgrade to metal, it will remain Pressure PVC.

Im using a sprinkler valve, actuated by a blow gun.

I'd say my barel is excellent, marbles fit with about 1mm gap.

Ok pics are up.

I Think im going to keep the chamber the same size but maybe decrease barrel length to... hmmm lets say 50-60cm

what do you all think?

Btw this is jst a rebuild. I'm attaching a new scope, going to go for the open holographic red dot sight, a gun sling, proper spring loaded bipod and a paint job.

Ah the pics...
The paint would certainly look better in combination with that scope.
