The blowgun I used on my sprinkler valve leaks a little before i fire my launcher. took it apart and cleaned it out and lubed up the orings. its still leaks. Should i just buy a higher quality blowgun or do they all leak a little?

They shouldn't leak.

Can you put up a picture?

How do you have it mounted?

If you have it mounted backward, the air pressure will try to open the valve in the blow gun, and might be the reason it's leaking.

Special Ed - Before replacing it, try what Gipetto said. you could very well have it backwards. What Gipetto said is far more likely and the most educated response in my opinion. If your not sure how to mount the blowgun, look at a tutorial or just post a picture in this thread and someone will tell you if its right.

Special ed: Can you tell where it's leaking from? If it is around the valve's piston (the little stub that sticks out of the housing and is depressed by the blowgun's handle) then you've probably done evereything you can to fix it.

Or is it leaking around the fittings? Spray some water on it and see where it bubbles.
