I dont know at all, but it doesn't looks very powerful...

There is an white cylinder between the chamber and the barrel, maybe a valve?At 0:20

I have seen one of these before i think it uses vaporized gasoline with compressed air as a propellant. Im not sure but it might be on instructables.

This actually looks like a gasoline "hybrid", believe it or not using a soda bottle as it's chamber and "propulsion rocket".

For all the effort and gizmos inside that thing, it appears to be greatly inefficient.

Yeah it sorta looks like it uses the friction of the soda bottle and the pipe to make a sort of ish burst disk/chamber combo.

If I were to do this, I would use the bottle as a burst disk, and screw it on, rather than just friction fit. Just fill it up to a 5x mix, and ignite it. That would get you actual range, as opposed to theirs, which is just a badly designed bottle rocket.
