zac, to do that, you will need alot of experience, acces to the right materials and proper tools. A lathe would come in handy.

You could do it with aerosol or soup cans and duct tape, but it wont give the same performance.
Maybe build some other stuff first?

That is a really complex gun. Making it without a lathe would be almost impossible. I agree with psycix build something simpler first.

Ah, the not so distant days of noob hood. I rember the day I first posted my crappy pop bottle res. gun and saw this link. I wanted one of these SOOO badly! Maybe soon, my spudgun skills shall be honed to this point soon enough.

Any ways, If I were you go for a piston valve golfball launcher. Your first gun will most likely be pretty simple. If you try to bite off more than you can chew you will quickly be discouraged from the hobby. Also, if you are not experienced and you attempt something beyond your skill level it could be very dangerous.

nice idea. Take a foam block (biodegradable) and drill holes in it to match that. Fill with epoxy, let it dry, and dissolve the foam. Then sand it.

Save up and buy a lathe.
Only super precise way to do it.

Although, if you understood the design to the full extent and were a serious spudder, then you would have already thought of a way to do it..
