Okay, I've been messing around (safely) with blank guns I was thinking, is there any way I could integrate the blank ammo with spud gunnery... My idea was to make a "pistol-ish gun" thing that involves little hammer on a spring hitting a blank bullet, at which time the gases push the projectile out of the barrel.

This is a little off topic but, is there any way to rifle a metal pipe at home without any heavy machinery?

Would I have to use any special pipe due to the explosion?
