I just finished my latest instructable, for a onboard air compressor (now I just need to rebuild my little golfball gun RIP buddy  ) Any body see anything I should of added?

Yes I know the videos are horribly boring, and I have rampant grammar errors.

And a second thought since my little golfball gun got destroyed  my big one wont fit in my jeep. What size of spudgun would you keep in your vehicle for those time you need to relax and shoot a tater into the stratosphere?

And the shameless plug vote for me!

You could use the roof rack but that might be a bit odd. How about a coaxial, maybe with a sling and the pilot on the end so you can whack it to fire.

Nice instructable!
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

Dont have a roof rack. I was thinking about small coaxial since that what my little golfball gun was. But I dont want to make another copy of it it was too much machining and I hate welding aluminum.

Nice instructable!
Thanks, I hope I win, but there are some other great instructables in the contest too. I really like that 48volt e-bike.

What's wrong with PVC? I prefer to machine things out of billet aluminum too, but for just a "keep in car cannon".

you should make an over-under combustion or pneumatic cannon,
and make the barrel as long as your car boot will allow

Having an air compressor on a car is really a good thing for when going out for spudding in the woods. I should look into that.
And a welder?! Wtf! Its really awesome, but still, I dont really see why one needs a mobile welder. If you need to weld in a certain project, do it in your workshop. Maybe emergency repairs for something, but I have never felt the need for that.

You mean a gun to go out spudding with every now and then or a gun that's permanently in your car so you can launch a random unlucky object wherever you are?
For the first one, as big as fits.
For the second one, as big as it fits without going diagonally through your car. Just flat in the trunk.
Maybe use some sort of system to unscrew your barrel in shorter pieces.

Or make a small one running on high pressure. But you will need a proper air source for that too; maybe a fridge compressor.
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

Thats was my little golfball gun was, 30" barrel 3.25" chamber coaxial made from alumnium, I pressursized it with a tank of Co2 with a 400psi reg it was wicked! It was KIA when I was loading a engine block in the back of my jeep must have rolled underneath when I was putting it down. Didn't notice till I got home I found the casing was to bent for me to pull the barrel assemble out of.

I was thinking of adding a high pressure output for the compressor which would cut off the pressure switch and isolate the low pressure fittings and let the compressor pump till I stop it.
I know AC compressors in cars can easily get up to 400psi on the high side. Thats the reason I removed my AC for the compressor, the controll system was shot so I would just keep on raising the pressure till it shut down.
Plus there was the fact I have a 4cyl 120hp engine in a jeep ment for a 6cyl 200hp engine and it robbed to much horse power.
