Mortar Help

I just build a cool medium sized spud gun, and I was really happy with the results that I've been thinking about making a mortar launcher to shoot a mini dodge ball, I saw at a sporting goods store. But I don't really have that much money and I don't know how big of a pipe I would need. Can you help me...

i would go with a combticion it easir go with a section of 5 inch pvc thats 4 feet sorry to be mean and all but if you dont under stand spud guns you should not build them it for your own safty if you need plans to build a launcher u should not be building spudguns its for your own safty

He didn't ask for plans. He asked what size pipe he would need for this mini-dodgeball he's found.

I have no idea how big or small this dodgeball is. You're going to have to measure it yourself and get back to us, then we can recommend a pipe size for you.

Thanks I will go measure it when i can but for now all I know is that it fit in my hand so I was guessing like 4, but i'm not sure.

I'd go with a burst disk design. Just search burst disk. It's definitely the cheapest and safest way to go.
