I'd do the m240, I like the aesthetics more and there's far more room to conceal valves, barrel, pressure chamber etc.

>>This<< was my take on the M249 - what were you planning on, single shot, BBMG?

I would say M240 as it's a beast is real life (although you have to be tonked to shoot it from the shoulder)

and my guess is BBMG, otherwise what's the point?

it would be a penumatic. and either a modded sprinker valve or spring loaded ball valve. the gas cylinder that cycles the gun on the real one would be the air chamber and it could extend into the stock.

im still working out the belt feeding

it would be auto loading and if hooked up to a CO2 canister would be semi or full auto. but i use regular air so its just auto loading?

1. which do you recommend i use spring loaded ball valve or sprinkler valve for .50 inch copper pipe.?

2. is .5 inch sold at home depot?

3. what chamber size should i use i am thinking .5 inch because i think thats about the size of the actual gas cyclinder?

Belt feeding? sounds a little ambitious, are you up to this level of sophistication?

I would go with a cloud BBMG ;)

i agree, you could also try a vortex if you want something slightly more sophisticated.

I would suggest my Direct Feed Magazine BBMG design shown here:

http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/bbmg-ai ... 16151.html

It allows magazines from airsoft guns and body's from airsoft guns as well.

All it would be was a quick internal mod to swap out the gearbox and replace it with a co2 system.

due to the limitations I don't think it really matters, the guns look similar enough that on an ameature functional level of craftsmanship the difference between then might just be a the magazine and barrel length, I would work on the primary parts and decide which would be easier or better, ex an exposed tube that you had to add might be better concealed by an attribute of gun type a or b

BAR all the way, it's a classic, looks great, with the wood and the nice metal, also it looks like it would be more simple to design and build aswell

If you keep it clean and sweet, the BAR all the way, it's also (in my opinion) a little less juvenile than the m240...

That would be Bonnie and Clyde Barrow...Sawed off shotguns, standard BARs. He was only 25 when the long arm of the law caught up with him.

The BAR first came out in the WWI timeframe and is one ferocious weapon. Few handheld guns to this day equal it in sheer, brute power. Fires the ubiqitous 30-06 Springfield we all know and love today.

The M240 is mighty sexy, but the BAR is a man's man's weapon...I vote BAR....
