How do you think something like this would work?

The cartridge is like davidivinis preloaded cartridge design only instead of a schrader on the back there is a female quick connect, it would be filled close to bursting then put onto the barrel of the gun when it is folded. Folding the barrel down opens the ball valve which releases air into the area before the blowgun. After the barrell is fully horizontal the ball valve is closed, the blow gun leads to a male quick connect which attaches to the quick connect on the cartridge. When the blow gun is pulled it releases the higher pressure through the quick connect into the cartridge, bursting the burst disk.

i dont see why i wouldn't work, but your going to need a lot more pressure in your main chamber than you need to burst your burst disks if you want consecutive shots

Ya i was thinking of using relatively low pressure burst disks, and putting over 100psi in the main chamber, I dont need it to be particularly powerful.

This is quite a good idea.
You are using pre-loaded cartridges, so the chamber will not drain very fast, yet the triggering of the BD is done pneumatically.
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

You should make your design more ergonomic though it looks kinda awkward.
