Help with a union

Iam building a 3" Hybrid. My question is should I use a 2" union or a 1.5"? It is 24" long 3" pipe. Or what about a 2.5? Thx

Use a union that is the size of your barrel, or if you can't obtain that, as big as you can afford.

The union is for the burst disk so the bigger the better. It will look better the size of your barrel though. Unions are pricey though, it's your pick.
