CO2 without a regulator

Can I just use a really (4" dia. and as long as a car) big chamber so the CO2 wont have as much psi as it was in a tank? not the 12 gram ones.

um why? it would cost about the same to order PW endcaps for it as it would to buy a CO2 regulator, an adapter fitting, and an on/off adapter from a remote co2 line
