Deoderant cans are butane, isobutane and propane generally. Usually a mix of 3. If you wanted I'm sure you could adapt it, but I've blown up too many deoderant cans with guns to actually use them in a gun.
Sniper hero had a good idea. Those are basically water bottles. You can get them in camping stores and they're fairly thick but light aluminium. Plus I think the threads are NPT, but don't trust me on that one.

they 3/4 female thread but the neck is too short so air leaks even when teflon is used but with minimal adaptions it will be air tight

I bet it is some sort of poppet valve. Could be used to construct a miniature hammer valve, to pilot miniature piston valves. Madurodam style xD
