Need 4in pressure rated parts

I am in the process of building a large piston cannon and i am in need of 4in tees and 90's. My local stores decided to be stupid and only sell 4in fittings in DWV i am wondering if anyone know of a place that i can get pressure rated parts in wisconsin or from online please tell be were because I am having no luck finding any. Thanks for any help

I am in the UNITED STATES in WISCONSIN like i said before.

And unless i looked for the wrong things i dont think mcmaster has the parts that i need

any other ideas?

The only 4" elbows I was finding on there were for gravity flow/ FPT.

Today, plastic plumbing products designed for potable water applications are usually designated with either "NSF-PW" or "NSF-61" to indicate that the product complies with the health effects requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for materials designed for contact with potable water. This standard also establishes similar guidelines for other plumbing materials, including copper tubing. If your pipe is not coded with one of these designations or if it is designated with an alternative code such "NSF-DWV," it is probably not meant for potable water applications and should not be used for such purposes.

It is pressure rated.

McMaster-Carr has pressure rated fittings all the way up to 8".

So far, the web site has only failed me on certain small, insignificant things, like not having un-threaded male plugs, and things like that.

I've always thought that McMaster's part look-up process was rather fool-proof. Please don't tell me you are an advanced breed.

Just kidding. Click on "Pipe Fittings and Pipe" (first link on the page), click on "Plastic Pipe Fittings and Pipe", and then just narrow it down from there. It's pretty easy.

EDIT - a tip for pressure ratings. Get pipe fittings (SCH-40) that are rated as ASTM D2466. These are rated the same as the pipe (or 50% in the case of threads) when solvent welded correctly.

i looked up the part number you gave me before and if you reed the part description it says "Not rated for maximum pressure" so no it is not pressure rated

If you look again it does say "ASTM Specification
ASTM D1784, ASTM D2466"

Which, like mark says, means the fitting is rated as high as the pipe is.

It says its not rated to maximum pressure. It doesnt say it is not to be used with pressure.

If mark is right, im im almost certain he is, then the fitting is safe.

ok lets just say hes right. That is still a expensive tee. i found the parts i need on flexpvc.com but the shipping is kinda expensive. i am realy looking for a store that sells it so i dont have to pay for shipping

Well, then like frankrede said, look for an irrigation supply. They usually carry pressure rated pipe and fittings (required for pressurized water). If not, find a good plumbing supply house.

The Yellow pages would likely be a better resource than this forum, in your case.

Don't look for it in Big Box stores, look in the yellow pages for plumbing supplies...

Use Fastenal. There's one near my place within 2 miles, and I ordered (accidentally) over $100 worth of pressure rated 3" caps, bushings, and couplers. Their catalog is great (and usually free) and I definitely recommend them. The prices aren't bad, either.
