No it doesn't even shoot airsoft bbs it's purely a show piece.

If it tried to, it would've fired alot of plastic shrapnel in random directions.

Lol a lot of people have been telling me that it looks real, So I find it kind of funny when they ask if It can actually fire shells because they think it is real or atleast made out of steel.

It is made out of only plastic and epoxy, there were several screw holes along with a hollow body construction that required lots of epoxy putty bodywork.

Well one of them has seen it.

They can post theirs if they wish to (imortal87 is making one as well)
There will actually be a contest thread to ask the users of spudfiles which one is their aesthetically favorite but that is a ways to go.
