Combustion cannons can generate a fair amount of reaction [kick],
has anyone used this energy to develope a "Self Loading" or "Semi Automatic" combustion cannon?

You don't need to double post because you're not getting responses.

On this forum 9 out of 10 ideas that newcomers come in with have been seen before - and especially when it's based directly off a firearm, like this idea.

Now, unlike some people, I'm not going to admonish you for not using the search function, because I know it's hard to actually get what you want out of it. Even I struggle at times to find what I want, and I usually know the EXACT post I'm looking for, and most of the time I can remember enough of the post's text to find it.

However, suffice to say, we do get a lot of semi-auto ideas through here, so it doesn't always generate a response not because we haven't thought about it, but because we've seen it before.

The general conclusion is that semi-auto combustions are a lot of trouble for not a lot of gain - aside from loading a new round, one must also vent and fuel the chamber, not easily managed.
Some people have managed it by adding electronics and electric valves. I don't believe it's yet been done all mechanically, although I do have concept diagrams for such a thing (which have never been made, because producing them in real life would be a colossal endeavour)

While I'm here, I will note that although your topic title is descriptive (unlike the ruddy "I have a question" topics we see so often), forum rules do not permit topic titles in all caps.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Well, I managed to make one with an ejecting cartridge, with a bit for work you could conceivably turn it into a semi or full auto launcher.

The best way to go semi or full auto with a combustion gun is to use cartridges, or an electronic setup to control fueling, a high speed fan with check valve and ignition.

Revolver X has come close to this goal, but it still has an extremely limited ROF, and it isn't a true "semi auto".

Dont know about semi auto or even auto but im in the workings of building a pump action repeater. but alas im finding it hard as Ragnarok said on venting of the exaust. I shall prevale. or it will just end up on the to hard pile. like alot of things.
