Nothing special but none the less a very reliable gun. I have another high pressure pump getting built at the moment. This is my first gun in over a year! ...Mainly because I just got that bored that I had to make something!

It's just a 8mm coaxial piston gun. Virtually fool proof! :D

The barrel is about 500mm long.

Nice little plinker you got there. I especially like the trigger and that curved elbow.

Where did you find an elbow like that? I've never seen one like it before.

Looks like a pistol!Make two of them so you have a set to duel with haha.

What stops the pisotn from coming right out the back through the ball valve or is there a bump stop before it?

Could you get a picture up of your piston assembly I think I might go make one like this.

Holy hell those comments came in quick! Everything on the gun I got from my local hardware shop called Bunnings. The elbow is just a standard galvanised 1/2'' M/F bend. Cost me 3 bucks.

The piston setup is stupidly simple. In the brass M/F fitting between the galvanised chamber and the ball valve, there is a cast hot glue (soon to be lathed aluminium) piston with a rubber coated tack in the top. That simple!

There is a steel washer between the brass fitting and the ball valve, that stops the piston from exiting the gun!

Cheers and more beers,

Mitcho

Welcome back too Mitch! I think, from what I remember you left the forums because of some incident.

Love the ergo of the guns. XD
It's Nerf or Nothing.

Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

Hey Bro! (no pun intended! :D) Yeah well, I left because of my growing fustration after gun after gun failing on me. it was a pretty damn big pain in the arse but it's all good now. Boredom provailed yet again and so I thought I'd give it another crack I'm going to go back to large bore. For anything smaller then 12mm, I'm gonna get myself a good QEV just to make it alot easier to build a gun that works!

Was this your first gun in a year because of what happened with someone getting arrested down under?
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

true... buy one and you can then use it on any gun you will ever build.. I suggest switching to malleable iron fittings for good and then simply recycle the parts

I've yet to build a new cannon after the court case, although I do have one in the design stage.Oh and the court case went well, understanding judge that viewed us as only having fun with no intention to do harm to anyone or some ones property.Launcher confiscated and court fee's is all that was in terms of punishment.

And me and my friend are not behind bars is the main thing! He also got to keep his firearms licence.
