Powered Coating

[WOW!!]

I got this powered coeding smaple and did a few parts and it came out really nice. I was wondering if I should order some more stuff and I could powered coat things for people. There is 20-30 colors and any metal can be coated, Its very strong and has a better look than paint. What do you guys think?

where do you get that stuff exactly, and it would depend on the cost.

You normally have to send your parts out to a powder coating shop. Powder coating is basically plastic powder that is melted on to metal parts. It's a very durable alternative to paint it looks very nice, but it tends to be somewhat pricey.

if you need a shop then how did he do it himself...

i think u just need an oven.

Iam not going to tell you were I get the stuff But It is a do-it-yourself kit, there is soem money involved but if people want it done then there is a service and a profit to be made. You would pay for shipping both ways and $20-70 depending on the part. And it is baked on after it has been electricstatic charged to the part.

for 70 i could almost buy a super valve >.<

and its not hard to find the kit i can ask an anodizing company i know of for paintball who does it.


its probably the hot coat kit...
