Check this out. Its an 1 1/2" SCH10 aluminum pipe available in various lengths including 4 and 6ft. Oh, and they come anodized. The 4ft only costs $18.00!!!
The aluminum is equal in strength to 6061-T6

Hmmm... I work with Sch 10 316L SS piping all day... Never thought of golf ball compatibility and they can definately take some pressure. Only problem is the only scraps I could get are like 1-2 feet long, and 316L SS is mucho mucho expensive on it's own.

I like this alternative tho... a 12 foot barrel for my "pea shooter" at only $47 is a good deal, shipping will be balls expensive on a solid 12 foot section though... fedex is quoting $180 lol.
