Revamped Combustion

Boom! The classic potato gun harnesses the combustion of flammable vapor.

As requested... here's the jpeg of the NFPA hazard label I made via photoshop... I simply printed it out on some glossy photo paper, cut it out using a razor blade and attached it using some spray adhesive I found in my garage.

yeah, it sure is... it might be a little ghetto but it gets the job done... and it fits the color scheme so it's not so bad...

I love that gun! Especially the potato on the chemical hazard sign!

Beautifully done. Very nice. Good luck getting your next propane adapter done that way. I assumed he just did some basic torch brazing on it? Hummm, might be something worth trying to do now that I think of it.

Can you braze brass with standard propane or will you need a propane/oxygen torch?

Edit: I looked it up, looks like it depends on how big a piece you'll be brazing as you'll need more heat for larger items.

awesome cannon man and that sticker owns :D

did you put some kind of coating over the paint? :?:

edit: when you added the extra spark gap, did you keep the BBQ ignition or did you change it to another source of ignition

In the future, please do not bump old topics. It's a good way to get a lot of people annoyed with you, which is a bad thing around here.

Awesome job on the paint. And that NFPA diamond just makes it that much cooler! I have to put one of those on my gun...
