Comments regarding AIR and CO2 mix

Would this combo of having a paintball air tank and a paintball co2 tank on the same gun give me a gas mix that would not freeze as much as co2, but also not get as hot during compression? Comments?

Well depending on the amount of each gas the pressure on the specific gas may be far less, therefore the CO2 wouldn't turn into a liquid and thus not freeze. For example if you have 2000psi and a mixture of 75%air and 25%CO2 then the pressure on the CO2 is 500psi, the pressure on the air is 1500psi thus the CO2 wouldn't turn into a liquid(i think so atleast).

Yep, John is completely correct. If you have a calculated lower volume of CO2 for a good specific volume it would not liquefy, but as the mixture would be predominately air compression heating would be similar, perhaps not as bad.

For example, it's the same as a 200x hybrid. The pre-ignition pressure is almost 3000 psi, way above propane's liquefying point. However, it's specific volume is quite low, so it does not become liquid.
