Oh, no wonder nobody knows what a BLOWGUN is. Thanks for 'translating' it for me, These look much more ergonomic to use as a blowgun for cleaning purposes, no? I was waiting for a reply before hacking of its nozzle. Its a 1/4inch, pity its so small.

Just for a clarification, right way means the nozzle connects to the gun right? and where the air is supposed to come in is the exhaust?

No, that's the wrong way. The nozzle is the exhaust.

Oh gosh i should've waited for a reply. Good thing super glue comes off easy. I can't use it nozzle to gun? cause upside down is really hard to operate.

I used my mouth to test(oops) and if i blow into the nozzle and release its still alright. Its my mouth, so how much psi can i get, lol.

EDIT:
I was wrong, the super glue stuck so hard, i pulled out the whole nozzle instead. Same question though, nozzle to gun?

Best you can do really is find a way to attach the nozzle end to a pump or compressure and see how much it takes before it leaks.

The average human can generate 2-3 psi, but a fair bit of flow with decent opening time.

If the valve is anything like a blowgun the nozzle end will hold a small amount of pressure, and leaking slowly until the pressure overcomes the spring holding the valve shut. They really only work well the correct way around.

Sorry for double post,
I just found out something. when i press the trigger down, theres this like red coloured stick that pokes down with the trigger, then the spring on the other side of the trigger pushes it back. So i was wondering if this blowgun has a different system in it?

Maybe it opens by having this stick move away and open up a hole inside, or the stick extends to this bulge on top(see pic) and when pressed down, it reveals a hole in this stick.(This red thing is slant) Its running from the bulge, middle of sellery decal, and to the trigger, slanting downwards to the left.

Im really desperate to use this the wrong way, so it really holds like a gun(comfortable) Didn't the M25 potato rifle use a blowgun the wrong way?

Odds suggest that it's a poppet valve and won't work in the wrong configuration. However, it may be different. The best way to try is to hook up a pump to the outlet (the exhaust, the one you want to use) and try. Pump it up a little bit. If it doesn't leak slowly then pump it up more. If it doesn't automatically open at the pressure you want to use then you're fine.

If you try it from the other side and it leaks slowly or opens automatically then a length of tube running to the proper inlet may work better. Just give it a shot.

Looks like a hard to find piece, and probably costly. Its alright, i adapted it to be used on a simpler design similar to JSR. Made for a friend of mine newly interested in spuds after he say PCGUY with that monster at the homepage.
