^ Front teeth whatta whatta? Why dont you use a presta valve as a check valve? Then you (if you wanted to) could use lower pressures (<200psi). 

Yeah that's another problem I wish I solve very soon. Just thinking about it then, I'd use a copper olive, and instead of cutting the nail to make it flush with the aluminum tubing, have it long enough on both sides to completely stop it from coming through the olive.
I think that may be my best bet.
