ok could sombody draw up a picture of a 2 inch tee 1.5 inch porting and a piston made of a 1 1/4 inch cupler
what im asking is where do u put the o ring(s) how many
is there any thing else i need to do to the piston orings make it air tight how does air get past it
what size o ring
and price for the o ring i should be expected to pay
o ring piston :)
this isn't mine but it is a very good illustration. the credit for this goes to Jor2daje. the o rings go around the coupling where it comes into contact with the 2inch piece. you can get away with one o ring but i think using two is a common practice. i don't know what size o ring is needed. as for the air getting around it it needs a equalization hole drilled in through the coupling

haha c'mon cannonmonkey I made you that diagram for a 1.5" porting piston in a 2" T just make the oring grooves before end of 2" pipe the piston sits in. And if you use a oring you will have to make an equalization hole.
edit: haha you beat me to it geardog

Here is a quick sketch of the piston I put in my last one. It worked great.
Note: This diagram was drawn up rather fast, but if you need a easier-to-read version just let me know.

i just wanted to know where the orings go and how to get air past them thanks i got everything
my birthday is this money hopefully i get some money
p.s thanks hub i understand where to put it now
All of the parts I got came from Ace (except the felt). The neoprene washers were found in those little pullout drawers they have. I don't remember the sizes.
If you are interested in making this piston, I will write up a how to (with sizes).
