Someone do a GGDT for me, because I am unable to download it now.
I need the meters/second velocity for a 1,828 cu. in. chamber, a ball valve opening time, 6 inch barrel diameter and 20 foot length, and 24 lbs of resistance from the projectile...
Ok, Hurry people hurry

It was JUST on the mythbusters 20 minutes ago, its actually a 6 in butterfly valve, spun by pneumatic actuaters, but when they were explaining it, it opend relativly slowly
I was just watching it, I don't have NOR use GGDT, your brain is much better and I'd prefer to find out the fun way.

Yeah, I'm going to go weld together a 30 foot long steel spudgun, then heat up a couple gallons of water and shoot a 24 lb cannon ball through a chrono at 9:30 at night... yeah...
I'm just asking for someone to do a quick calculation to figure out the distance the cannonball flew before it hit the ground...

I don't believe anybody has done requests like this before, so don't feel bad if you don't get an answer, just download it when you have time, besides, GGDT measures with air not steam and water.

they didn't do it by the temperature, they had a guage hooked up and it read 68 psi of pressure, wether that pressure comes from air, helium, argon or whatever does not matter as much until you get to extreme pressures...

ARG... i am not trying to be exact here, i just made a guess about the chamber volume, its about as tall and as wide as Michael Moore, 5-6 feet, and 4 feet in diameter...
I just need a rough estamate

My track coaches name is Michael Moore, wierd. With a title like " Ok, Hurry people hurry" your kinda not caring about things we may or may not have to do, a little patience goes a long way.
