cheap electric solenoid valves?

Does anyone know hwere it is possible to get electric solenoid valves that wouldn't have to have threads bigger than 3/4" All teh ones i've found are quite expensive- any ones that are pretty cheap?

I need these to handle no more than 125 psi, and I pretty much have to go electric for this project due to the timing and other things involved- so I guess it probaly could be plastic

Is there an appliance recycler near by (or a dump)? A dishwasher will have one valve and a washing machine will have two.
