different glues for different schedules

I'm not that familar with pvc ( live in Canada) but I'm getting some schedule 80 pipe and fittings and wondering if you need a different type of glue for it, besides regular pvc glue.

no you can use regular pvc glue. it actually chemically melts the pipe together to form one solid piece

yes, I know how the chemical process works, but I just thought it needed a different glue cause its a thicker pipe.
