Why has there only been four submissions? Are you all similar to me in the fact that I take a while to construct cannons? I opened this discussion to hopefully shead more light on the contest and get some REAL competition going on. Post what you think is in "inbounds" for this convo, and if I dont see fit ill just delete all or some of your post.

4- All cannons will be entered the same method, then if such a cannon deserves a award a judge will deem its category. Hence a cannons category will only be assumed prior to judging.

Rep for sure. I may give prizes, but it all depends on the quality of cannons coming out. No one else has anything else to say?

No, I never said I didnt like your posts. Actually I had quite a fun time in our little editing battle. The reason your post were deleted because they were off-topic for this specific topic. AKA, this forum isnt for just you and me, hence why such issues that only pertain to two people are kept out of this topic that has nothing to do with such.

Now then. As long as we can tell what the f*ck is going on your camera will work. Essentially, if anyone so chooses to cheat we will make them go out there way to do it.

For propulsion methods, can it be solid propellant? Or would it just be limited to aerosols/propane/gasses?

I am the same way when building a new one, especially for a contest. the parts were not in the bin, and the electronic solenoid pulser i designed
needed more effort to package than i had thought. any chance of an extended deadline?

Apperantly we must stop this contest at the request of BCPneumatics. He also must have a copyright to the idear' of a spud gun contest. I guess the SpudTech contest was started prior to SpudFiles. So the furthering of this contest is at the mercy of BCPneumatics. I guess I copy him to much. Even though my agreement to formulate and govern such a contest was made at the request of you, the members. Just keeping everyone informed.

But this contest is just for fun, it isn't like anyone is going to make money out of it. Heck, the prize is just an emailed image of a pizza isn't it. The aim of the contest is just to see what cannons are built and if there are any new ideas. Well, I am still going to submit my cannon contest or not.
