Waaaaaaay back in the stone ages... When I played paintball... I didn't make an adjustable rail, but what I did do was measure the drop at realistic paintball long ranges (at close range you don't need a sight at all) and build a side-mounted sight mount that was canted at the appropriate angle. IIRC, it was about 3 degrees.
