I figure sooner or later someone is going to want to brag or 'discuss' what Christmas (or whatever holiday you celebrate) has produced for you. Don't know if this is the best place to put this, but the mods will do it justice.

So, I'll start off with my surprises from the Jolly ol' Elf...

I got a new recliner and about $200 in Visa gift certificates. I also found a brand new MW2 for the PC under the tree. My wife got a new Nikon camera with a 15x zoom and 10 Megapixel resolution, a wireless print server for her printers, a badly needed new fluffy floor length robe, and a couple hundred dollars in gift certificates at her very favorite clothing stores. Laurel, my daughter, got a new wireless all in one printer, a new Ipod Nano, several of her favorite CD's, and a couple hundred in gift cerficates for her favorite clothing stores.

We get the 'money cards' because you can never make a complete list, and buying clothes for someone usually ends up in returned items. There were other things given and received but the best part was just being at home with the family, and the soon to be enjoyed Christmas feast at my Mother in Law's home. I'll be weighing in well over the 220lbs I already weigh. Why? I have no willpower when we celebrate the holidays.

So, Merry Christmas, from me and my family to you and yours. Let's have a great new year!

Damn! I got a tool chest, a gaming chair, ~$200, a tripod, a camping pillow, random books, and 15 pairs of undies!! <-- not kidding!

I also realized that my EX-F1 (camera) is partially broken and freezes during video capture, and an opportunity to bug my parents to let me order a mini lathe.

fortunately, my camera is under warranty, so I may just return it, and get a d5000 (doubt it)
