Pneumatics are harder to make from ghetto parts, but can be very impressive if you can pull it off.

The decision will be made based on the most creative use of found objects - not necessarily the most powerful.

Those were my first thoughts, but when it comes to ghettoness, this forum is very resourceful :)
Is that a challenge? :D

Well I was going to enter... I attempted to make a cannon out of a tiny bit of tube, a peizo ignitor and my own cupped hands (wore gloves) forming the chamber. Unfortunately with 2 hands dedicated to forming the gun, I had to make do with a couple of toes and an elbow to do the fuelling and firing... only got igntion once, and the projectile got stuck. Tried for a bit longer and gave up in frustration. The thought of trying to coax 5 whole shots out of the thing was too much to take. Oh well...
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

If you can pull this off with one shot, it may just be an exception.

Well then, I may just be tempted to try again!

In fact I may just go bare-handed as the gloves take up a lot of valuable space, which makes it very difficult to fire. I wonder how badly I'd get burnt? Is it worth it?

Descisions....

EDIT:

If I do get it to work, I've already got a name for it...

The handgun.... Ba-Dum-Tish!

There's still time. Deadline is Feb 1. I mean, how long does it take to throw together a ghetto gun, right?

well you've obviously won because knowone(sp?) can see my pictures unless they actually go onto my photobucket account.
