I wouldn't use it at all. If i'm not mistaken, conduit is pretty thin. The only thing I could think of that you could build around it is a big wooden box.
Duct tape wont do much.

Hard to believe I'm even scared of using a PVC pressure rated cannon at 100PSI yet some people have no problem using non-pressure rated cannons at that pressure. Just because it took 120PSI a few times doens't mean it can keep taking it either.

Nice design but I would listen to these guys about the safety of the parts you used. I made the same type of mistakes and they got me on the right track now.

this conduit is pretty thick. it looks the same thickness as my normal pvc pipe. but i will listen to you. i'm not going above 60psi.The pipe should hold that pretty easy. if thinwall pipe can hold 200psi my conduit which is more then 2 times thicker should hold it. i used to run it a max of 120psi because it would leak the pressure out before i could max out at 150psi(my compressors rating)

The sch40 rating means that it WILL be the same size as your normal pvc pipe, as sch40 is the standard size. This means that all sch40 pices will fit with each other.

If you look as sch40 pn12 (12 bar) rated pipe the smaller pipes wall thickness will be much much smaller than the larger pipe diameters, meaning that pipe thickness doesn't mean everything.

Also non rated pipe often says "cell core" meaning; that it's foam sandwitched between two thin pices of pvc.

In theory non rated pvc could fail at anything above atmosphere levels, though this is not the case.

It's pretty annoying all this but in the end could save injury and piece of mind
