Ok, well the reason why I use these marbles is becouse
I have plenty to shoot and they are very cheep
and very easy to get. I am thinking of making long metal spears
for my other 22mm barrel. I will convert the 22mm barrel to a silent
dart barrel the BTB way.

Thanks anyway. Now I know that marbles aren't the best projectiles
to have, but like I said.. they are very easy to get

steel ball bearings are not that difficult to get but you'd have to spend sometime to find them real cheap

I bought 1200 7.831mm BBs for ~15 EUR but I could get them cheaper if I ordered more

The only problem is that the price increases exponentially with size so 12.7mm is probably the largest practical size to use as the main ammo... I am not saying that you can't use larger sizes but they are just too expensive IMO

So that's another reason.. but still though you are right.. I could have some 8mm bearings for a nice buckshot..

for my next gun the main ammo will be 5/8in(15.875mm) ball bearings and off mcmaster i can get 100 bearings for $15. so larger sizes are feasable, i will just have to collect them after shooting

I am thinking of making a mold for casting lead slugs. I do have some 25mm thick aluminium plate, wich I can use for the mold itself. I would cut 2 pieces of 25mm×40mm×60mm. Then clamp them togheter, and drill two holes (drill bit is modified to a round nose shape). I made a quick scetch in paint, so you'll get the idea.
It would look someting like this;

The backside of the slug will be drilled out.
Does anyone have some experience with it, or maby some tips?They are welcome

The only thing you might want to do with that sketch is to add an additional drilling on the back side of the bullet. A wide one that will allow the back end to flex a little and give you a sealing skirt. It shouldn't harm the overall weight distribution.

Great rifle! I've been scanning the pages watching the videos (my neck hurts now) and reading up on this from the metal bolt to the new nylon one. Very very neat gun and it looks like it works great! Do you have any idea of the fps you're getting? Have you used the GGDT?
