I found this in reviewing some of our film. The gasses are directed behind the muzzle because of the angle of the tube running into the black tip. We chose the vertical positioning of the brake because it reduces muzzle flip. It's kind of a quasi-brake acting as a muzzle brake and a compensator.MRR wrote:It looks to me like the black tips on the exhausts direct the gases at a 90° angle to the barrel up and down and not backwards.
