Home made light kit. I used bulbs and sockets salvaged from a microwave.

Your light kit looks far sturdier than the one which came with my F1, good job.

Out of curiosity though, have you tried a shot outside without the light kit?

Note that the light kit just sits on the plywood and I can slide adjust it if necessary. I can use a spring clamp or a C clamp if necessary.

All shots are inside the garage.


I just shot a marble hot glued to a 10 gauge wad at 1044 fps using 300 psi. First time to break 1,000 fps!

The marble weighs much less than a 10d nail.

I am quite satisfied with the Trom-Boyn Oak piston.

As I clean it up it looks better and better.

Note too that the barrel is friction fitted to the T with no apparent problem.

I have been thinking about a lock mechanism for just in case, and would appreciate your inputs.

Something along the line of a plastic belt clip that engages from both sides comes to mind. The kind that you squeeze to separate.

I have had it up to 550 psi, no problem.

I am developing nail darts and 300 psi is enough for that.


I am curious if the gun can break the SOS so I may go to 550 psi sooner rather than later.
