Any have any good design suggestions for a mortar bipod? IM looking for something that is adjustable to a somewhat reliable degree and that looks reasonably realistic.

Any help is appreciated.

On the small scale a turn bulkle. On the large scale cheap camera tripod with one leg secured to the cannon part. You would have to modify the supports that hold the legs together so they can move further out. Another factor is the length of the fully collapsed leg would limit the minimum angle. If that length is equal to the overall length of the cannon, 45 degrees is the absolute minimum. A 4-5 foot morter would be needed to take full advantage of the range of the tripod legs. you can figure the angle out with trig. Make sure the legs come out to the same angle from the cannon each time.

if it is a big mortar, go for a scissor lift, or even try to replicate the chemical mortar replica found on the wiki. The camera tripod would be easily adjustable, but it would not have a large enough range of angles. I have seen some small foldable bipods on "sniper" weapons here, i would look into making one of those to a larger scale
hope this helps.
