you've got approximately 10 - 15ms to close the pilot valve once the piston valve starts to open

yep but that requires a hammer that has to be cocked

if you want to convert it to a semi you still need either a double action trigger or use some sort of blow back mechanism to cock the hammer
then if you think about you need to find a way to load ammo prior to each shot..

so in the end what seemed as a much simpler solution than:
1 understanding how DCV valves work
2. buying one that suits your design best
....gets more and more complicated

Yup, it's a bit like me and epoxy... you can bleat about it all you want but only some of it sticks

On that note, interesting surge in interest in semi/full autos of a certain level of complexity of late.
