Double Acting Solenoid Valve?

Hello everyone I'm in the process of improving X-inventions P.A.C. 6 semi auto air cannon, so it can fire semi auto rapidly; and full auto bursts. But I'd have to have multiple air tanks and I was wondering has anyone heard of "Double Action Solenoid Valves"? I'd incorporate them into the multiple air tank design so i could use them to fill the air tanks and empty them to fire.

To get the semi/full auto fire rate I'd have to design a 555 timer with an adjustable resistor circuit that would pulse and open the valves.

So I was wondering were could I get a cheap but effective double acting solenoid valve that would be powered by either 12-24 volts DC?

hmm I don't think I get it ? what do you mean by 'double acting' ??
do you want a valve with two solenoids ??
or do you want something that can fill/and vent a tank ??

hmm I don't know what he meant... ok so there are valves with two solenoids (that function as toggle valves... meaning they stay in the same position)
but from how he described it it seems that he's looking for just a 3 way valve

and that by the term 'double acting' he meant 'one that can do what two 2 way valves do'

Lets try to clarify. Do you want a valve with 2 ports that stays open when voltage is applied to the solenoid and then you have to apply voltage again to close the valve?

I would use a qev with a solenoid vent(since qev's are "double acting") it would be more powerful as well as more efficient. if you want to do away with electricity altogether i would use a qev + popoff combo
