Welcome, Steve.
Most things as to what is allowed to be discussed on the forum are in the rules, the only other thing is the posting "rules", which is more about forum etiquette.

That's about it. As long as you aren't afraid to spend a little time researching before asking, everyone should be more than happy to help you out with any questions you may have. Don't be afraid to make a few topics and ask questions as long as you don't mind putting in the time to research.

If you find the search tool a little tricky, this might help.
