The chamber is made from metal. That is the important part. The barrel surround is PVC and so is the lower "battery housing/stock" (or whatever it is, I forget). :)

I use the oppurtunity to tell you how nice that looks.
I guess you took your time even though you didn't have much, that is a really good thing as you can see from the result you achieved.
Looks like a clean advanced combustion.
